Our salesman, John Merriman, was awesome to work with. We told John up front that we were just looking to narrow our search and were not ready to buy yet. John asked what we were looking for, showed us the cars and explained the various options. Then graciously told us to check out the other cars and was sure we would be back. Absolutely zero pressure. Needless to say, we came back and purchased the car.
I want to commend your service tech Jacob who worked on my vehicle. I had the opportunity to meet Jacob when picking up my car and glad I did. How refreshing to speak to Jacob and walk away with the feeling that he truly cared about his work. It has always been a pleasure to drive my Yukon but after the work on the vehicle was completed it drives just like new. Thank you Jacob and the entire service dept. for a positive repair.
I would like to send a shout out to Tim Bacon and the tech who took care of the unexpected issue I recently had with my Buick. Even though I didn't have an appointment they worked me into the schedule and I was out of there in less than an hour. Great customer service.

My experience at the dealership was great
I arrived at the dealership approximately 10 minutes ahead of my appointment. I was taken in and my appointment confirmed. I was invited to the clean, comfortable waiting room where coffee and other refreshments were. The atmosphere was pleasant, I read the available newspaper. In a timely manner, I was soon called that my vehicle was ready. I was pleased that a cost that I expected to incur was proven, by the techs, was not necessary. I was not "sold" anything. Thank you for you fair and just assessment and service.

First !! I don’t like buying cars it’s complicated a game expensive and necessary!! I have been looking to trade for awhile but then got Serious. I googled top most efficient SUV’s and Kelly Blue Book brought those up…… But for some reason the Envista picture popped up and I thought WOW!!!!! My schedule is CRAZY but I had sometime and stopped at Suntrup. When I walked in knowing NOTHING Fred Butler came walking up to me and said how can I help you? The rest is History- I bought the 1st one to be sold from that Dealership. It’s a great car I’m very happy and Fred has been absolutely wonderful making the whole process easy, fun, exciting and possible!! Bob in finance was awesome and I’m completely Happy and will refer anyone!!

Came in to get TPMs looked at, turned out they were fine and got four new tires, left and halfway home we noticed the passenger side rear was flat. Called Kaitlyn and immediately she told me to come back, we did they got us in and up and out. They were very professional and this is not lost on me, they made it right and that means a lot in a world today where everyone is concerned about money and doesn’t value customer service. The gentleman that sits next to Kaitlyn was also very helpful. John, the guy that worked on my car, took the time out to explain to me what was going on and why the tire was flat. That meant a lot to me. Suntrup will continue to be who I go to for both of my vehicle’s needs.

I have always taken our Acadia here for routine service. It's where we bought it and they are consistently on target with the work at a fair price. Yesterday was no different. Ken was there right away to get my details, said it would take about an hour and it did. They promised to call me and they did. Checkout was easy and the staff were very pleasant, even at the end of the day. It's nice to have a company that does good work and is true to their word. We will continue to use them.
Really happy with the service I received on 5/17/23. Service rep Casey went the extra mile to call Enterprise regarding my car rental. I had been paying out of pocket but my issue ended up being covered under warranty, and she was able to get them to change the rental fees per warranty agreements with Suntrup.

Service department was amazing!! It took several weeks for the parts to come in and my warranty company didn’t cover a rental for the entire time so they stepped up and gave me a loaner. Dave, our service technician was a rockstar.

My husband recently took our Buick to Suntrup Buick GMC for service. This is his review of the service experience at Suntrup. First, the Service Advisor (Casey) was very knowledgeable and professional when I initially called to schedule an appointment. Upon arriving for the appointment, Casey greeted me and was extremely friendly and professional. Care was taken to insure the vehicle was serviced to my satisfaction. Kyle Snyder did a great job. My son bought a used truck from Suntrup. The vehicle had not been through the service department when we viewed it. After the sale, they ran it through service, put on new brake pads, when not completely worn, changed all the filters, rotated and balanced tires and more. The real big kudo was when they had to put a new brake light assembly. Kyle found they ordered one, but then it would not match the other existing one because of a modification. He had them order two, so they would match. It's those little things that make you feel good. Good job, Kyle.
Jeff Womack was very helpful and informative. He was laid back and did not apply any pressure to buy even though we needed to buy a vehicle for our daughter before she left for school in two weeks. He let us take the car she was interested in for the weekend.

Tim Bacon took good care of me. Liked that he let me know there was a recall on my GMC Terrain without having to ask. Work went fast and mechanic Joe Dickens took time to explain the work that had been done.
They were prompt, I arrived at 7 and they were waiting on me. They checked out the car and had me on my way. The prompt and efficiency in getting in and out is very important to me.

It's difficult to get information from the Service Department personnel. It's worse when you're calling to pay your bill, which after calling back the third time, I asked the receptionist how can/ who can I pay my bill? She was kind enough to call me back, in less than 10 minutes to accept my payment.
An hour and a half for oil change/ tire rotation? Appointment at 0830 so service team surely couldn't be running behind so early in the day, right?
I used to like this dealership and the service department. I even sent my mom and dad there for their last vehicles. I feel the service department didn’t do anything but charge me for something I did NOT approve. I brought my car in and told them everything that was going on. They called and said they couldn’t find anything wrong and asked me to tell them again what my car was doing. I told them the same thing I told them when I set up the appointment. Now they found a bunch of things wrong that would cost over$1300. And they charged me to rotate the tires , which is free where I bought my tires and they did an oil change. I had just had an oil change at my regular mechanic shop a month before. Kaitlyn said I approved it but I didn’t. Kaitlyn said rotation was complementary along with 21point inspection.
Bought a car from them recently and they said they couldn't go down on the price. Have had it for like two weeks now and I have to get my brake pads replaced on it and new tires. I will never buy another car from this dealer. They don't want to bother with deals much. Poor management. On top of that I have now had to spend over 1100 dollars of my own money to get this vehicle safe to drive. Never again Suntrup. That thing is practically a lemon.
This place does not value peoples time I had a 9am appointment my car sat in the bay for over an hour when someone finally did start working on it I had waited until 12 to inquire about how much longer it would take they advised it would be another hour and a half My car came out 20 minutes later When I tell you I watched my car sitting with the work done for an additional 20 minutes without them calling me I was heated Never ever again will I patronize this business if I have to drive 30 minutes out of the way this dealership will never get a dime of my money
I bought 2 new vehicles here two years ago. Now my Envision has an obviously rusted power lift gate arm and won't function. I drive 69 miles per day to work so have accumulated many highway miles. So their answer that I have exceeded the warranty period is so narrow-minded that I am truly shocked to be treated this way! The part is defective (I rarely if ever have opened the lift gate). Elevate this issue to someone with the bigger picture!!
So first, I love my 2022 Sierra, bought it elsewhere. Suntrup is closer so scheduled an oil change, tire rotation and had a couple of chips needed to be installed that the truck was delivered without. Booked this appointment 10 days ago. Scheduled the appointment for 7:00 am Friday. first in! Asked me if I wanted to wait, said no I’ll come back. Called at 1:30 pm, too busy to talk, will call me back. Almost an hour later they call, asked if they could keep the truck till next Tuesday. Haven’t even started. No offer of a loaner, few bucks off the oil change, nothing, just sorry… Place was very low tech, had to give them my info on a piece a scrap paper. Wanted to know if I wanted to come back next week… 😂😂😂😂😂
One hundred and thirty five dollars to replace a headlight. Both of the housings were already out for a recall. Why did I get charged so much phucking money?
We brought my sister's car here a couple weeks ago and it has just been a disaster ever since. It was brought in because the check engine light was on, the ac was not working, and it had a squeak. "Repairs" were done, she paid, and left. Not 2 hours after she left the check engine light came back on and just a few days after that, the ac stopped and is worse now than it was before they had it. Also, the squeak never changed. So they suck, ok. Now what? My sister called several times and was basically just ignored. I had to start calling and was told the car was driveable but the parts were backordered. Ok...but that's only 1 part, and it has nothing to do with the squeak or the AC so what about the rest. Crickets. No response. The only kind person I have spoken at this dealership is Brenda, unfortunately, she is not the one actually working on this. Its been a couple weeks, so I called on Monday to get an update. I had to call back this morning bc my call went unanswered. I was told I had to talk with Dave and he wasn't there yet but she would get him to call me back. Nope. I had to call, again and she was able to find him. He was no help at all. I got "the parts are still backordered" but when I pushed a little harder, "well, she can come back in monday bc we were able to find one." "Ok, let's schedule a loaner." "Nope. We don't have any." I explained again that we have already paid for repairs and literally nothing got done and nothing. Just the same nonsense. We are booked, we have no cars, can't help you. I have opened a case with corporate, and I really hope they can help. I would hate to have to leave more bad reviews and go to the BBB in order to get fixed what we've already paid for. It's ridiculous that we even have to ask for a loaner when they didn't fix anything but were happy to take payment without telling us that nothing was fixed. Blows my mind how poor the customer service has been from here.
Think twice if you are taking your car to Suntrup Buick GMC. I took my new GMC terrain for a repair on March 27 and had the worst experience. I JUST got the car back today, May 4. Three parts needed to be replaced, two were in stock and it took them over a month to find the third part. I understand the difficulties of finding parts these days, but instead of being honest, week after week I was told by the Service Advisor, Tim, that “we could get the part any day now”. During that time he did nothing to put me in a loaner and kept telling me their loaner cars were unavailable. For.A.Month. I had rental car insurance coverage for several weeks, but after that point I was paying everything out of pocket and Tim was completely unsympathetic to my situation and did nothing whatsoever to remedy the situation. Finally on May 1st, on a voicemail I was told they found the part. In his message Tim promised me that “as soon as we get the part we will have it installed”. Tim called on Wednesday morning, May 3rd, saying the part arrived and that he would let the service tech know as soon as he arrived so they could get the part installed ASAP. He also told me I would receive a call when the work was done. I expected a call later that day, but that didn’t happen. Rather, I called them in the early evening to get an update and was told, “looks like we haven’t even gotten around to your car yet.” Once again, false promises by Tim. I asked to speak to the Parts and Service Director, Chuck, and was told he would call me before they closed. Never got a call. They finally installed the part and I picked up my car today, May 4th, after work. The complete lack of customer service, incompetence and dishonesty is mind blowing and extremely disappointing. Despite Suntrup Buick GMC being by far the closest dealership to me, I will never do business with them again and will gladly drive farther to another GMC dealership.
My car is doing the exact same thing after spending over $600. Very frustrating!
We ordered our GMC Sierra to this location in May. The truck came in November. We payed a pretty penny for this truck but was never given a tutorial of the many features this truck has. We also had to hear multiple times from our dealer that he was not making money with this transaction due to our GMC Family discount. Lastly, if you are a female I would not recommend ordering a truck at this location. Our truck is missing the feature that alerts you when the truck it about to hit something. The dealer looked at me, not my husband, and let me know that’s a feature I’m going to need. I would not recommend this dealer, especially if you are a female.
Waited 6 weeks “for a part “ still isn’t in. These people are useless. Would rather go anywhere else. Beware
